THIS Sunday, January 22, sees the final
of the Alberton Cricket Association’s
Southern Stockfeeds Twenty20 competi-
tion with ladder leader Tarraville taking
on Binginwarri at the Yarram Recreation
Both teams are evenly matched with Tarraville
super stars Ants Bland and Damien Quigley sup-
ported by their younger teammates in James and
O’Keefe out to make an impression, while on the
other hand you have the powerful hitting Billy Jen-
kins ably supported by brother Welles and the wily
old fox Trent Crawford providing the cagey bowling.
Entry is free so if you are looking for some high
quality entertainment on Sunday afternoon, get down
to the Yarram Recreation Reserve for a 12.30pm

campdrafters competed at Sale Polo-
There were competitors from all over Victoria,
New South Wales, South Australia and Queensland,
with competition starting Friday morning.
Many competitors had travelled from afar the
weekend before to Yarram Campdraft and camped
through the week for Sale, with some staying for
Trafalgar Campdraft this weekend coming.
The competition kicked off with the Maiden
event in which after almost 300 runs locals Marni
Hamilton and her horse Summer, and Kero Gilliland
and his horse Liam made the final, with Kero placing
equal fifth in the event won by Mat Holz of Modella.
Following the maiden final, Welshpool rider Kealee
Hamilton ran two 89’s on her horses BB and Vodka
to place equal second in the Juvenile event which
was won by Charlie Goff of Maffra.
Sunday morning after a very early 5.30am start
Kero and Liam were able to back up the previous
days success making the Novice final, again won by
Saturday afternoon was the feature event for the
weekend, the Bon Accord Open for Open, which
was won by Ken Boulton of Stradbroke.
Sunday morning kicked off with the Open event,
won by Peter Boulton of Heyfield.
Next was the junior event where Leah Roberts
of Won Wron competed on her horse Jimmy, with
