Sculptors, painters, potters,
jewellers and print makers
will open the doors to their
sacred studios this weekend.
Following the success of the
inaugural Open Studios event in
November, 16 Wellington artists
will demonstrate their talent and
display their art in Briagolong,
Stratford, Fernbank and Munro
The diverse group of artists work
in a wide variety of mediums
including printmaking, painting,
wood, metal, glass, ceramics and
textiles and will be on hand to tell
stories, teach techniques and chat
about their passions.
Studios will open, free to the
public from 10.00am to 4.00pm
on Saturday 12 and Sunday 13
Maps to the studios are
available to collect at the Visitor
Information Centre in Sale,
Segue Arts Café in Stratford and
Riverstone Café in Briagolong.

Briagolong and Surrounds
Sixteen artists from Briagolong, Stratford and surrounds
will be opening their studios this Saturday 12 and
Sunday 13 March, from 10am - 4pm each day.
Info maps can be collected from Segue Arts Cafe in Stratford, the Visitor
Information Centre in Sale and the Riverstone Café Briagolong.

Honey Brown is an acclaimed author who lives in
Gippsland with her husband and two children. Following a
farm accident in 2000, Honey became a paraplegic and fell
into deep depression for 5 years. She then began writing,
which soon became a joy and passion for her.
She will be joined in conversation by current Wellington
Shire Council Mayor Darren McCubbin.

Works have commenced on the Sale CBD
Public Toilets, which are being constructed in
the Sale Mall near the Commonwealth Bank.
The works include the supply and installation of
a fully automatic twin toilet, consisting of one
accessible and one ambulant cubicle, including
baby change facilities.
During the works there may be some disruption
to vehicle and foot traffic, we apologise for any
inconvenience. The toilets are anticipated to be
operational by April 2016.
